Ballet Folklorico Orgullo de mi Tierra is an award winning Dance Academy in El Paso, Texas that performs traditional Mexican dances from different regions of Mexico directed by Elena Vargas. The dance Academy is comprised of girls and boys ranging from 4 years old and up. Ballet Folklorico Orgullo de Mi Tierra has been invited to performed in many local festivals around the El Paso region and New Mexico. For the past four years they were honored to have been invited to perform with world famous Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan, Gloria Trevi and Jenni Rivera. Bestowed as “Best of the Border 2015” by the El Paso Times, has also performed in conjuntion with the Mexican Cousulate in El Paso, TX. The passion and pride that these dancers exude is contagious, and a testament to their hard work and dedication.
